Amazon recomended it for my printer, it was not what came with the printer so I sent it back and got the ink from the 220, 221 series that came with my printer.

I made a mistake and bought some of the cheap imitations from Amazon. The inks clogged my printer, some ink leaked while loading the cartridges, and the color was not good. I ran the printer through a couple of maintenance cycles, loaded these cartridges, and it’s worked fine even since.

The products I ordered are great and the value for the money spent is well worth it. You can’t go wrong with “original” canon ink cartridges. Don’t ever use the “compatible” cartridges even though they are less expensive. It will only mess up your printer and end up costing you more money to get it fixed than what you saved on using “compatible” products.
