beat the high price of canon ink cartridges with this generic … you have to take the chip out of the cartridge that you are replacing but it’s easy to do

Canon makes the best ink and the best consumer printers. The printers are terrific and reasonably priced. THe ink is, while a bit pricey, head over hills above the competition in every way. Generic inks ARE NOT WORTH IT!!!! They really aren’t!

We have all been warned that this is the strategy followed by many printer companies – keep printer prices low and charge relatively high prices for the ink. This is certainly the case here – I paid just under $15. In about a month, it is already below half and I do very little color printing.
Other than that, the ink and the printer works very well (I have a Canon MX 700).

The ink is good but it seems to run out faster than the others. It seems to be used quite a bit when printing in greyscale or Black.
The price could be lower but that’s how the printer companies make their money!

Last cannon printer I had worked fine till I started using after market reloaded ink cartridges. When I used the reloads I started getting clogged ink ports and went through 2 print heads. In my current printer I have only used new cannon ink and have not had any problems. I think I will stick with cannon ink for a cannon ink jet printer.
