I don’t have this model, but I’m on my 2nd HP desk printer and they’re crap. Buy ANYONE ELSE’S printer out there!

These printers suck and I’d avoid all of the HP Ink Jet printer lines. (We use HP Laser printers at work and they’re great.) But, these printers are pieces of crap.

The scanner stopped working when I got a new computer and I was never able to make the computer see the scanner again. NEVER. So, I got a Canon scanner which is infinitely better.

The print quality is great…when you can make it work. But, between the carriage jams and the paper jams, good luck. I waste so much time trying to coax this piece of junk to do what it’s supposed to do.

NEVER AGAIN. I’m going out and buying myself a new printer for Christmas and I don’t care what it costs cause it’s gotta be better than this horrible thing. And, I should have known better — it’s my second one.

Silly me! I forgot to check to see if this was wireless-enabled. Well, it’s not. I have three computers and now have to use a USB cord to print from the laptop. As for the netbook, which doesn’t have a disk drive, when I tried to download the driver from HP, it said it would take 248 minutes (on cable). Even loading the CD on the PC took well over an hour. Old, clunky and noisy technology. Spend a little more for a better printer.

Too early to “review”, as I just set it up! It’s small & doesn’t take up too much space. Great price from seller & it was brand new in the box! I think it will be fine. If I have problems I will write again…but for now A-OK! The seller shipped fast.

Printer comes without a way to plut it into the computer. This is no different than shipping it without a power cord. Makes no sense and does not provide a good customer exprience. I am surprised at HP for such a cheap manuver.

HP sucks. That’s all there is to it. I don’t care that the software is crummy, or the “intuitive” interface is so intuitive it can’t be understood by anyone smarter than Forrest Gump. The printer bricks cartridges–”previously used cartridge installed”–at random. I’ve spent enough money on cartridges–refilling bricks them, removing and replacing bricks them, switching the printer from one computer to another bricks them, running out of colored ink bricks the black ink cartridge–that I should have bought a 5″ linux tablet and used it as a PDF reader. Or just gone to Kinko’s, where no one hovers over my shoulder telling me I need to buy a paper tray refill license BECAUSE I ALREADY PAID FOR IT. Look, jerks, this isn’t “licensed”, it’s hardware.
