Amazon sells the HP LaserJet M1319f MFP printer as “new” and acknowledges that the item is “remarketed” through TheFactoryDepot.
Don’t expect Amazon to handle any problems you have with their misrepresentation about your expectation of getting a new printer. Never mind 1)the Amazon website states the printer “NEW”, 2) you have a Amazon.com order acknowledgement listing the item, 3) you paid Amazon directly for the product and 4) you have a packing slip from TheFactoryDepot stating the item is refirbished.
Amazon insists you did not buy the item from Amazon and you must call TheFactoryDepot with your problem and provide the telephone number to do so. You call TheFactoryDepot and they tell you that yes, they sent a refirbished printer. They insist it is “like new” and to talk to Amazon about your problem.
Calling Amazon back you will find out that since Amazon claims they did not sell you the item all they can do is act as an intermederiary for you on this matter but you will have to provide Amazon with a fax or email as written proof the item is refirbishes although I already have a packing slip stating this.
I contacted HP and was told that there is a $90 diffference between new and refirbished list prices for this printer. Further, they acknowledged refirbished is not new and there is a pricing difference.
Is Amazon pulling a bait and awitch here?

Good plug & play Laser-Fax/ Copier. (I still miss the PRINTED User Manuals: On-disk included or On-line available.) Excellent speed & Image quality. Using for business and have over 1500 faxes/ copies printed with no loss of quality from original toner cartridge. For a few dollars more than an Ink-jet, you get permanent prints!
