I was one of those sucker that got sucked in because of it’s cheap price. I bought the CLP-300 and I’m sure this model is no different. I had major paper jam on this trash 1 every 3 paper. It was in the shop and got worst. After a year (out of warranty), it went to the trash. I learned my lesson and only buy a Brother from now on. Of all printers, I had good luck with Brother printers as far reliablity and No Paper Jam!!. Don’t buy any printer that is Samsung. You do get what you pay for!

The quoted ‘normal retail’ prices of 350ish to 425ish are $150 to $225 OVER the manufacturer’s full retail price. Who’s checking these retailers? BuyNow’s ‘bargain’ price is still $50 over full retail…

    Sad, really, sad Amazon…

I bought the clx-3175fn which has an identical printing engine to the clp-315 and I have posted my review on Amazon. See it to learn about flickering lights, the burning smell and how fast it goes through toner.

This is a piece of junk. I have had more problems with this printer than any other printer I owned. I like Samsung products but I will never buy a printer from them again if this is what they generally make,. It costs a fortune to but the color ink and the black as well. A very big disappoint to me. Others, i know have had pretty good success with it but not me.

It’s all about the ink mostly. This machine is HARD to figure how to get the ink replacements. The site online doesn’t begin to explain. There are letters that are confusing as to wether you have the right model or cartridge. This is really difficult to figure the ink out on the Samsung site. The printer is okay but cut off a lot of things out of my pages. I’m not sure why if it’s the pc software or the printer. It runs well and prints nicely but not easy to learn printers. Really I wanted a laser and got this in impulse. I would go back to HP if I had to buy again because they are set up better.
